Introducing Bernamica Gray
This is not meant to be a biography, but I need to provide a little bit of background about myself. My name is Graham Fell and at the time of writing I come complete with one wife and two daughters. I am not a professional musician. Well, not professional in the sense that it is not my paid career. But in terms of attitude and musical ability, I will leave that to the listeners. I have been a member of many bands over many years (rock / pop and worship), but have never found the right band that I could release my music through. Having learned to play guitar at age 11, I began writing songs at 13. At 22, I became a Christian and so my song writing changed to that direction. In my forties, I thought that the songs I had written would never be heard by anyone other than my long suffering family, but thanks to modern technology, I was able to record my music by myself in my own studio. "Studio" sounds rather grand, actually it’s a bunch of electronic equipment housed at the bottom of the bed that my wife and I sleep in! Having recorded my first album, “Struggle To Tell”, I decided that my name Graham Fell hardly had the ring or pizzaz that is required. In any case, I wanted this to sound like a real band and so I had to come up with a name. Benamica Gray is simply an amalgam of the names of my family: Bernadette (wife), Amy and Jessica (daughters) and Gray is me. I did harbour the thought that one day they might join me for real, but so far I haven’t had the right response! So, that’s it really. I will send each album that I record off to the Christian CD reviewers and then make my albums available by mail order.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my music.
