At the top is a section called FREE MP3's and this will be where I will post new songs (not yet on Albums or maybe never will be used for CD/Albums). I might also include here tracks off previous albums that are no longer available (out of print). So, look here for almost anything! - I'll try and post the latest things at the top of this section.
Then in the next section will be my CD/Albums that have already been released.
The 3rd section will be where I post my monthly Guitarist Collective tasks and the latest one of these will be right at the bottom of the page.

"New & FREE" mp3's - as and when I post them ! (September 2007) - I was so pleased with a tune I did for this months guitarist collective, that I thought I'd provide a link for it here as well. It is called Complikashunzzz and started as just a guitar workout thing but then as I was doing it and realising that in todays musical climate this tune will sound mighty complicated, then that would be the title - I might also outline my thought process for this in this months "jottings" section. "Goodbye Constantine" - a song from the Not 4 da superficial CD - inspired after reading loadsa books in an attempt to find out why "Church" in the western world came to be in the format that it is, worth finding out!
"Guitarist Collective" - songs will appear here as and when I post anything! ;- Guitarist Collective - (JANUARY 2007 Task) The "guitarist collective" gives a musical task each month - this months task is to create a song or tune that "illustrates a new beginning"- so now I have to have an idea, write the tune and record it and convert to mp3 b4 end of this month!! here it is! & it is called.... The Beginning (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (FEBRUARY 2007 Task) oh no!, I've just read the task for this month..... FOLK MUSIC ! - 1st thoughts were arron white sweaters, acoustic guitars and beards...but wait.... I think there's a glimmer... yes... yes, they have confirmed that this can be international loose folk type muzak... hmmmmm - OK, what about using a sitar? bongo drums? drone notes, yes yes, I think there is truly a glimmer here!, stay toooooned! February task song Guitar Sitarla (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (MARCH 2007 Task) So, this months task is to take the classic guitar instrumental from the 50's, called SLEEPWALK by Santo & Johnny and record it a "different" way.... hmmmm. After mucho thought....... I have an idea and it is here to download Cheese Induced dream (mp3 format) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (APRIL: 2007 Task) So, after only 3 months they make ME the taskmaster for this month! is this an April Fool ? - well seemingly it isn't, so here's the task - play anything you want but only in an odd time signature 3, 5 7 9 11 etc - song/tune has to be original - no covers and defo no 4/4 Right, better see if I can deliver on my own task!!! eeeeek my beat box only does 4/4...... what can I do?????? April Task Tune is here to download Good Friday (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (MAY : 2007 Task) The task this month was to do something "acoustic" and to make it "summery" in its feel. Now, this presented me with a problem as i have NEVER recorded anything acoustic before! (surprisingly!). What I decided on was a tune that I have played since I was about 14 years old, when I wrote it! but never recorded it!. I used to play this whenever there was an acoustic lying around in someones house, as I never really had a decent acoustic guitar. this tune used to cheer me up when I was suffering the dreaded teenage blues, so hopefully I meet this months task rules. May Task tune is here to download Summer Puddng (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (JUNE : 2007 Task) The main riff or main part of the melody this month MUST be played on a SINGLE STRING! - rest of the song/tune can be played normally.... I have "written" my tune and a nice jolly tune it is, definitely a "different" style, however I now have to record it and figure out what the rest of the instrumentation should be............ (pause for a few days.... & voila!) September task is here to download -----> Complikashunzzz (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Guitarist Collective - (OCTOBER : 2007 Task) (septembers task was my "impression" of Dweezil Zappa.......) October task was to record a tune with just a guitar, no backing, no overdubs, no multi- tracking........ so, those of you who bought my 1st CD "struggle to tell" will recognise that the track "Heavenvator Muzak" is essentially what I have re-produced here tonight!, except, I recorded it in 1 take, warts n all (oliver cromwell like) via my cheapo Stagg Strat copy (made in China and retails at £100!), plugged into Boss GT3 on factory setting called JC120 and that's that! You know, this might be the month where I fail to complete the task..... But actually, i didn't......be careful! this one is LOUD! ................................................... So, very little guitar in this one, BUT actually everything except drums came from my guitar............!!! I have just written my entry and although not recorded yet, I have even decided upon a name for the tune. March task here to download ----------------> Turned Cheek (mp3 format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guitarist Collective - (APRIL : 2008 Task) COMPOSE a piece with a beginning, middle and end was the task for this month. So, if you read my "jotting" entry 13th April you will see what inspired this tune, if you can't be bothered, then look out for a book called "Urban Grimshaw and the shed crew" and that is what inspired me to come up with this.
